1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Next step d.o.o., Croatia ("we", "us"), for the Skymind app and website. By creating an account you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Not medical care
Skymind offers self-help tools for wellbeing: breathing, CBT-based exercises, journaling, meditations, programs and an optional AI companion. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical or mental-health condition, and it isn't a replacement for a doctor, therapist or emergency service. Questionnaire results are for your own reflection, not a diagnosis.
If you're in crisis or in danger, contact emergency services immediately (112 in the EU) or a crisis line in your country. The app lists crisis lines, but we can't monitor your messages or respond to emergencies.
3. Who can use Skymind
You must be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account. Tell us at support@skymindapp.com if you think someone else has access to it.
4. Skymind Pro
- Some features need a Skymind Pro subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account.
- Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your Skymind account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
5. The AI companion
The companion is an optional AI feature. Its replies are generated automatically, can be wrong or incomplete, and aren't professional advice. Don't rely on it for decisions about your health, safety, money or legal matters.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Skymind: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no access to other people's accounts, no use of the app to harm yourself or others, and no unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Your content
What you write in Skymind belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
8. Our content
The app, its exercises, programs, meditations, texts, sounds and design are owned by Next step d.o.o. or its licensors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the app.
9. Changes and availability
We keep improving Skymind and may change or remove features. We aim for the service to be available at all times but can't guarantee it. If we change these terms materially, we'll tell you in the app before the changes apply.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time (see how). We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. The EU's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Apple App Store
If you downloaded Skymind from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
